We have built three 4x8 raised beds and planted them with a wide variety of vegetables (& 1 fruit)- greens, tomatoes, squash, carrots, onions, potatoes, cantaloupe, herbs, etc. There are three of us working this garden, one the owner of the house & backyard in which it is located, and the other two of us friends of his who live in an apartment with no yard.
