<p>The Digital Garden on Leetsdale is hosting a two part sustainable building workshop starting on August 7th and 8th. On the first weekend, we will have a Q&A Session, followed by Bale stacking and synching. The workshop will be lead by regional strawbale expert, Mark Schueneman. This will be a wonderful opportunity to get your hands dirty, learning about sustainable building techniques successful in our region.

Juliet's Victory Garden

I have been wanting to put in raised vegetable beds since we moved into our home 2.5 years ago. I finally got around to doing it this year. I started everything from seeds. I built the boxes myself. A hail storm at the end of June managed to beat up most of my plants. I wasn't sure anything would make it. The tomatoes looked dead, my eggplants and peppers were dead, I was sure. I couldn't even go out to look at it, it made me so sad. Then little, by little new leaves started appearing. And now almost a month later it's all back and gorge

What is your favorite part about gardening?:

I love watching the process from seed to fruit. It never fails to amaze me. I love watching the daily changes.
